The data is processed for the following purposes:
a) To execute the accommodation contract, in particular to obtain and confirm the accommodation booking and any additional services, and to provide such services as requested. This processing is necessary for the definition and execution of the contract, which constitutes the legal basis of the processing. Therefore, pursuant to Article 6 of the GDPR, consent is not required. The processing ends upon check-out, although some personal data may (or must) continue to be processed for the purposes and in the ways described below.
b) To comply with public security laws (Article 109 Royal Decree 773 of 18/6/1931). This law requires us to identify all guests (including minors) staying at our facility and transmit their identification data to the State Police, for public security reasons, in the manner established by the Ministry of the Interior (Decree of 7 January 2013). This data transmission is mandatory and does not require the data subject’s consent.
c) For administrative, legal, accounting, and tax obligations (including ISTAT statistical reporting), in accordance with current legislation. Consent is not required. The data is processed by A Casa Di Amici s.r.l. and its data processors, and may be disclosed externally only for legal obligations to banks, insurance companies, or professionals (e.g., accountants, legal advisors). Data is retained for as long as required by Italian law (10 years or more in the case of audits).
d) For marketing and commercial communications by A Casa Di Amici s.r.l., including offers regarding its services or those of commercial partners. Personal data will be retained for a maximum of 10 years. Consent is required for this type of processing.
As a data subject, you may at any time contact A Casa Di Amici s.r.l. (VAT no. 06181060820) at Via Dante 57, Palermo, or by certified email at: acasadiamici@pec.it to exercise your rights under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, limitation, objection, portability). Processing under points a), b), and c) is essential to the execution of the accommodation contract. Any objection may result in our inability to confirm the booking or provide services.
