With a future vision that includes summers filled with rooftop concerts, "A Casa di Amici" aims to be the reference point for young travelers in Palermo.

Who is the creator of the "A Casa di Amici" project?

Claudia Vitale, the driving force behind the activity and creator of the project, believes it's important for art to become increasingly interactive. A simple vacation is no longer enough for travelers, who today seek a total and unforgettable experience. From this need, our reality was born, offering guests the opportunity to stay with artists from around the world and to become artists themselves, discovering their hidden talents.

What truly sets our establishment apart from others?

Inside the structure, the collection of musical instruments crafted by Santo Vitale will fully capture your attention, transforming you into participants of a contemporary exhibition. You won't just observe! You can also purchase them or build them by participating in a workshop. The Artist Santo Vitale, co-founder of the concept hostel, will guide you through a direct experience with percussion instruments.

Who makes the structure a true "house of friends"?

This house is the result of the collaboration of people who have grown with it and those who have been part of it for a short time but have left their mark. Each of them has contributed their personality, energy, and experience to enrich and build new facets of the same project. Alessandra Mazzara, an integral part of "A Casa di Amici" for many years, has seen the company grow and has grown alongside it. She has always lived in close contact with every traveler, creating a familiar atmosphere and a vast network of friendships worldwide. Proud to be part of this multicultural reality, she truly believes in this splendid project, which she considers an incomparable lifestyle.

What does it mean to grow within this project?

Continuous contact with the world, cultures, and the meeting of diversities broadens one's horizons and opens the mind to new possibilities. It makes the world feel smaller, giving you the courage and strength to pursue the dream of your life. Just like it happened to Clement (beddu nivuru), after many years of collaboration. In the letter he dedicated to us before leaving, he writes: "Family, friendship, emotions, joy, tears, peace, hard work, but above all, LOVE... have allowed me to become an integral part of your beautiful and wonderful lives." You've grown when you learn that art is wherever you want to see or feel it.

How do you envision the future of the Hostel?

I envision summers filled with rooftop concerts, artists from around the world choosing us and returning over the years, as already happens today. Colorful murals covering the entire surface of the structure, like indelible tattoos on the skin, reminding us of the best moments lived. "Social closeness" will be the new keyword, materializing in the organization of events of all kinds, aimed at re-establishing a sense of community. An international network of hostels to be part of and through which to move easily, to become the reference point for young travelers in Palermo. This is the vision of the newest member of our team, Emanuela Adelfio, also a dancer and lover of rhythm and music.

Note: We want to emphasize that the thoughts expressed here are entirely shared by all the people who have been part of the staff and the guests of "A Casa di Amici." We have stayed in contact with them and have read all the reviews, but, unable to transcribe them entirely, we have become the bearers of their voice. We bid you farewell with a wish from our great friend Clementino: "I wish you peace, prosperity, and infinite love!"
